Beautiful, Antique Horsman Composition & Cloth Baby Doll. Sleepy Eyes 18” c.1930.
Absolutely darling, early 1930’s Horsman composition and cloth baby doll.
She has clear, sleeping green eyes, fevered cheeks and a slightly open mouth revealing 2 tiny teeth. She has molded, hand painted blonde hair and 2 adorable dimples.
Baby is wearing a beautiful 3 piece vintage Christening dress with a full slip, shear short sleeve, lace trimmed gown, bloomers and a matching bonnet. Her socks are nylon with lace trim and white leather tie shoes.
She is holding her little bisque antique baby doll that will come home with her and a hand crocheted pale pink baby blanket.
Her clothes have been gently hand laundered and pressed.
Baby’s condition is excellent. She has been gently refurbished and her cloth body has been professionally cleaned. She has no holes or stains. Her composition is free from crazing, chips, cracks or repairs.
No paint loss or rubs on her head.
She would be a lovely addition to any antique/vintage doll collection!
