I Always run the TAP though the threads 4-5 times to make sure threads are clean and you don't have a problem when you get this.
Works wonderful when making really small cuts when making HSS lathe cutting tools, like 60 degree threading tools or boring tools.
Most modern, (post 1983), Dremel models have ¾ - 12 TPI
About the only ¾ - 16 TPI models are as follows:
- Dremel model #’s - #270, 370, 380 ALL are ¾ - 16 TPI
