This accessory from Alisam, "A-LEE-SAM', is an indexing plate and pin only. NOT the complete system as it does NOT include the vertical indexing bar or jam nut. For use on most

any wood lathe with 1", 33mm, 34mm, (Oneway lathes), 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" spindles that can accept a 10" disc above the ways! The plate is a 10 inch, laser engraved, anodized .125" thick ALUMINUM plate with a center ID of your choice above. The plate has three concentric rows of indexing holes. The plates have 3°, 4°, 5° indexing positions, (except the 1 1/4" model only available with 2 1/2°, 3° and 4° hole positions), rows of indexing holes.
This allows the user to adjust for most any position around the circumference of your turning! Secure the plate to the spindle with your lathe's chuck or faceplate, (or jam nut available at most hardware stores). You may also configure your own "outboard" set up of your own design, (see 2nd and 3rd pics of one of our customers setups for routing flutes on his turnings, AS EXAMPLES ONLY, LATHE OR SET UP NOT INCLUDED)!

*SOME SPINDLES, (A VERY FEW, such as GRIZZLY G0632, DELTA 46-755/46-715, POWEREMATIC 3520 B SO FAR THAT WE HAVE COME ACROSS), HAVE A RECESS BEHIND SPINDLE THREADS AND BEFORE THE HEADSTOCK CASTING. IF YOU HAVE THIS TYPE OF SPINDLE YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE A SPACER TO ALLOW THE PLATE TO CENTER ON THE SPINDLE.
